Learn more about NuNet by reading our Whitepaper and blog site.

NuNet is a spinoff of SingularityNET Global AI Marketplace, operating since 2017. NuNet has been incubated via SingularityNET X-Lab Accelerator program since early 2018. The technology development and early use cases of the NuNet platform will be geared towards (but not limited to) supporting the computational infrastructure of decentralized AI agents of SingularityNET.

The NuNet private alpha launched in September of 2021. Community members were able to begin onboarding their devices to the network using the open-source script developed during the incubation period. A fake news warning application was used to successfully test running a machine learning algorithm on devices connected to the network.

On November 26th, 2021, the NuNet utility token, NTX, was launched on the Ethereum blockchain. On April 18th, 2022, the NTX token was bridged to the Cardano blockchain Chain. This was done so that users will be able to choose the blockchain on which to buy or sell computing power, using the token. NuNet stopped supporting the BNB chain from January 31st, 2023.
