Job Description
As a Backend Engineer on our team, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the backbone of the NuNet platform, now powered by the dynamic Golang programming language. You'll take charge of managing the backend of our desktop application by crafting elegant and robust code that's optimized for performance, maintainability, and reusability.
Responsibilities:
Immersing yourself in the NuNet vision, actively contributing to the technical design of backend systems and APIs.
Bringing new features to life, enhancing the platform's functionality and user experience.
Swiftly resolving bugs reported by users, team members, or your own keen eye.
Creating comprehensive test scripts to ensure flawless implementation of required features.
Collaborating seamlessly with fellow team members, working towards shared objectives.
Keeping technical documentation up to date, ensuring clarity and accessibility for all stakeholders.
Engaging with our vibrant community of developers, fostering collaboration and innovation.

We want to hear from you if you:
Have 3-5 years of software engineering experience, deep understanding of Linux internals, and experience with designing/developing APIs.
have knowledge or experience with execution environments (i.e.: VMs, containers, or WASM)
preferably have knowledge or experience with peer-to-peer networks and a drive to contribute to their advancement.
are proficient in software development principles and methodologies, showcasing a solid foundation in the field.
are committed to upholding code quality standards and an eagerness to embrace automated testing and deployment practices.
have exceptional problem-solving abilities and an unwavering attention to detail, ensuring the delivery of robust solutions.
you’re interested in systems development rather than web or mobile app development.
You are interested in the Blockchain and Web 3.0. industry.
can work as a part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
have a background in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. We're also open to self-taught enthusiasts who are deeply entrenched in the world of software development.
